We started with in person assessments and moved to online teaching once she was comfortable that I could participate and make progress online. I really appreciate the online tutoring since travel after work was hard for me. She is comfortable using online tutoring technology and is always looking for better ways to teach. Our lessons involve homework review, reading and writing practice along with learning new material, looking at newspapers, and talking about the Iranian culture. She also helps to connect the new material with the old so that it all fits the bigger puzzle. We constantly review to ensure that I am keeping up and slow down or pick up the pace based on my progress. I have worked with a couple of tutors in the past, and no one took the time to do this, so not only do I appreciate it but it helps me learn at a very fast pace. She genuinely cares that you learn the language and so constantly asks for feedback on what can be done different. All qualities of an excellent teacher. Again, I would highly recommend her, and I am very lucky to have found her.
